About the Space

The Space is a dedicated LGBTQ+ affirming community center in the heart of New Castle, offering connection, support, education, resources, and community-centered programming for LGBTQ+ individuals, allies, and families throughout the Roaring Fork Valley and beyond.

Created through the vision, care, and dedication of passionate community members, The Space was built to ensure LGBTQ+ individuals in rural mountain communities had a place to gather, feel supported, and belong. That commitment to community continues today.

Mountain Pride now proudly stewards and operates The Space, continuing to expand opportunities for connection, peer support, educational programming, wellness initiatives, advocacy, and access to affirming resources. The Space exists as a welcoming environment where people can learn, grow, celebrate identity, and build meaningful community together.

MEET BRI!

As our Roaring Fork Valley Community Coordinator, Bri is your go-to for all things Mountain Pride in the RFV, as well as the host of The Space! Bri is a native of the Roaring Fork Valley and is passionate about fostering community connection and building spaces where people feel safe to be their most authentic selves. Be sure to say hello if you see them bouncing around in one or a dozen places up and down the valley!
