Is there a cost?

Pride in the Park is FREE and open to the public!

Food trucks, merch, and vendors will be present for sale.

Are pets allowed at Pride in the Park?

Dogs are allowed but must be on a leash.

Where do I park?

Please consider carpooling or other modes of transportation, such as walking, bike riding, and public transportation. Be aware of signs.

TOWN OF AVON PAID PARKING REGULATIONS

The Town of Avon will provide free parking for the first three hours in the following locations:

1. On-street parking in Town owned parking stalls on (1) East Benchmark Road, (2) West Benchmark Road, (3) Lake Street, (4) West Beaver Creek Boulevard.

2. Riverfront Lane: Restricted to 10 minutes only

3. Mikaela Way: Restricted to Library patrons only

4. Users will be required to pay $1 per hour beyond the initial three free hours.

5. The parking will be regulated between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. seven days a week, 365 days a year and is subject to change.

6. There will continue to be no overnight parking from 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. without Avon Police Department approval.

If you plan on driving to the event, we suggest attendees utilize these various parking options:

Take the FREE buses from EVTA and The Town of Avon. No matter the bus get off at AVON STATION!

What should I bring?

Sunscreen
Remember your reusable water bottle – this is a Plastic-Free Event! Water stations will be available. Please bring your own refillable water bottle.
Bring your own lawn chair, blanket, shade tents, etc.

Where can I donate?

Will credit cards be accepted?

Cash and credit will be accepted by all vendors.

Is smoking allowed?

This is a smoke-free event. All cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and vape pens are prohibited.

Colorado State law states a person over 21 years of age and over can possess an ounce of marijuana and it is illegal to smoke it in public.

Will alcohol be served?

Mountain Pride will not be selling alcohol, but the Avon Town Council approved open containers and public consumption of alcohol (aka BYOB) at Harry A. Nottingham Park and in Avon’s Pocket Parks between 11:30 a.m. and until 30 minutes after dusk. Glass and glass bottles are not permitted.

What is Mountain Pride doing for safety?

Mountain Pride is working with the Avon Police Department, a private security company, and the Town of Avon for the safety of all event attendees and vendors. Our goal is to ensure a safe and welcome space for all!
