Celebrate visibility, equity, and inclusion in the mountains of Colorado!
Pride in the Park is a day-long celebration that draws visitors from throughout the mountains of Colorado. Saturday’s celebration has a jam-packed schedule of activities designed to keep everyone interested and engaged. Numerous local organizations, businesses, and vendors participate in the celebration. The Drag Show and Parade around Nottingham Lake are the festival’s focal points.
All are welcome! This event is open to the whole community, whether you identify as LGBTQIA+ or not!

Mountain Pride will not be selling alcohol, but the Avon Town Council approved open containers and public consumption of alcohol (aka BYOB) at Harry A. Nottingham Park and in Avon’s Pocket Parks between 11:30 a.m. and until 30 minutes after dusk. Glass and glass bottles are not permitted.
Mountain Pride is working with the Avon Police Department, a private security company, and the Town of Avon for the safety of all event attendees and vendors. Our goal is to ensure a safe and welcome space for all!
We recognize and respect Mountain Pride’s presence in Vail Valley, which was formerly the ancestral homeland of the Ute and Arapaho tribes. We acknowledge Indigenous peoples as the original stewards of this land and pay tribute to their sacrifices and hardships
