Regional Community Engagement Coordinator – Summit County

The Regional Community Resource Navigator is a contracted hourly position (15 hours a week) responsible for connecting LGBTQ+ community members with essential resources and support services while fostering a sense of inclusivity.

Resource Navigation (5 Hours)

  • Engage with the LGBTQ+ community to understand their unique needs and challenges.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local organizations, businesses, and community leaders to enhance resource availability.
  • Guide LGBTQ+ community members to relevant resources, including health services (including but not limited to Medicaid and other federal assistance programs), peer support groups, behavioral health services, and community assistance.
    • Provide peer support to individuals facing challenges related to their LGBTQ+ identity & connect individuals with appropriate behavioral health resources and crisis intervention services.
  • Stay up to date on local, regional, and national LGBTQ+ organizations and services to meet evolving needs in the community.

Community Outreach & Engagement (5 Hours)

  • Creating & Facilitating 1-2 Community Events per month in the assigned region.
  • Generate Marketing and Recruitment materials for regional based community events and initiatives.
  • Oversee and/or participate in relevant outreach events in the assigned region.
  • Attend community events as a representative of Mountain Pride to build awareness and relationships.
  • Foster better community relationships and protective culture through educational and training opportunities delivered by Mountain Pride.

Administrative – Documentation, Data, and Reporting (2-4 Hours)

  • Ensure that program milestones and goals are met and adhere to approved budgets.
  • Complete various monthly reports and program plans
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and services provided.
  • Conduct surveys and focus groups to explore and understand the diverse interests within the LGBTQ+ community.
  • Operate programs with fiscal responsibility in accordance with the Board approved budget in addition to compliance with grant budgets and programmatic goals.
  • Support Executive Director with administrative tasks including but not limited to;
    • Accounting
    • Grant Reporting
    • Marketing Content

Fundraising (2 Hours)

  • Fundraising is a shared responsibility amongst all team members to ensure the long term sustainability of our impact. Tasks may include:
  • Cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and grant providers.
  • Collaborate with the fundraising team to organize events, campaigns, and donor outreach efforts.
  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support LGBTQ+ community programs and initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits: Contracted hourly. Pay is based upon relevant education and experience per hour. Hourly Pay: $25 USD

Service, Communications, and Data Coordinator

General Description

The Service, Communications, and Data Coordinator, a contracted position (10-15 hours/week), is integral to Mountain Pride’s mission. Responsible for data management, donation processing, and acknowledgment, as well as managing marketing and crafting communications. This role bridges data insights with service initiatives, ensuring our mission is effectively communicated and supported.


Outline of Job Responsibilities

Marketing and Communications (5 hours)

  • Cultivate brand awareness among stakeholders and the broader community through strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication and marketing strategies across multiple channels, including social media, newsletters, website content, brochures, and press releases.
  • Proactively capture and showcase client stories to enrich marketing and fundraising materials, amplifying the impact of Mountain Pride’s programs.

Documentation, Data Management, and Reporting (2-4 Hours)

  • Conduct surveys and focus groups to gain insight into the diverse interests within the LGBTQ+ community, informing the development of inclusive and responsive programs.
  • Keep detailed records of interactions and services provided, fostering accountability and transparency in Mountain Pride’s operations.
  • Maintain and update databases to uphold data accuracy and completeness, while also managing contact lists efficiently.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support including administrative functions and accounting tasks contributing to the smooth operation and growth of Mountain Pride’s initiatives.
